Ayokka Hunt
Coach Ayokka Hunt has Coached for Westside High School since 2010. She started her High school coaching career at TL Hanna High school in 2005-2010.
Coach Hunt is a 1993 Graduate of Westside High School. She
has held 10 State Championships for Track and Field and 1 State Championship
for Basketball during her time as a Lady Ram. She received the SC Congressional
Award from the House of Representative for a single individual winning the most
Championships in the state of South Carolina in 1993.
Coach Hunt Earned her Bachelor's Degree from Appalachian State
University where she was All Conference in Track and field, Breaking the school
record in the discus, shot put and the hammer throw. Winning 4 National Titles
and then to earn the highest award for academics being an athlete.
Coach Hunt also earned a Associates Degree from Anderson
University also Breaking their Conference and school record in the throws.
Since Coaching at Westside High school, she has had 2 team region
championships and several individual State Champions.
In 2013, Coach Hunt was inducted into the Hall of Fame at Westside
High School for athletics where she is alongside her sister and father that are
also in the Westside Hall of Fame.
Coach Hunt has a daughter ( Acoya) that is a senior at Columbia
International University and another Daughter ( Ayanna) that is a senior at
Westside High School.
